Each pad features genuine 3M pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, making installation quick, secure, and easy without the need for special tools.
For custom applications, we recommend using a fresh razor blade for precise cuts and clean edges. If your project requires multiple cuts, keeping extra blades on hand will help ensure the best results.
Installation & Care
For optimal adhesion and long-term performance:
- Clean the application surface thoroughly with Dawn dish soap and water.
- Allow the surface to dry completely.
- Wipe the area with denatured alcohol to remove any remaining residue or contaminants.
- Once dry, apply your DEKit Square Pad.
To maintain your DEKit surface, clean with soap, water, and a stiff-bristle brush. For tougher stains, products such as DEKit's All-Purpose Cleaner, Soft Scrub, Simple Green, Formula 409, or diluted bleach may be used. Avoid acid-based cleaners, including hull cleaners, as they may damage the material.
