Installation & Care
For the best adhesion and long-lasting performance:
- Clean the step surface thoroughly with Dawn dish soap and water.
- Allow the surface to dry completely.
- Wipe the area with denatured alcohol to remove any remaining oils or residue.
- Once dry, apply your DEKit RV Step Pads.
To clean your DEKit pads, use soap, water, and a stiff-bristle brush. For tougher stains, products such as DEKit's All-Purpose Cleaner, Soft Scrub, Simple Green, Formula 409, or diluted bleach may be used. Avoid acid-based cleaners, including hull cleaners, as they may damage the material.
